Updating the Sources
Professional Information can take responsibility for updating the sources whenever there is new or updated product labelling. This includes the eMC (Electronic Medicines Compendium) or the IPHA website (the online sources for the UK and Irish SPCs and PILs), the BNF, MIMS and client specific websites
The client company provides an alert whenever there is a new or amended SPC or PIL, and Professional Information then takes responsibility for updating the specified sources.
The entire process is governed by a Working Practice which is agreed between Professional Information and the client prior to service commencement. This ensures that the service is provided in line with client expectations and requirements and is fully documented for pharmacovigilance audit purposes.
